Restrained Patio is an outdoor project that aims to bridge the interior of Villa Sol with the breathtaking horizon of Ibiza. Using dry-stacked stone walls, polished concrete flooring, and architectural native planting, the patio offers multiple zones for relaxation, dining, and open-air gatherings.
Creating an outdoor space that remains cool under the intense Ibiza summer sun without relying on heavy permanent covers.
Implemented a custom lightweight steel pergola structure with woven organic reed covers, offering dappled shade that moves with the breeze, combined with an integrated evaporative cooling system.
